In the process of attempting to animate the experience of travelling into a black hole this pattern started happening with the layers, i think i like it more than the failed animation i have so far.

Just a quick experiment, think I like the idea of adding drawn images to the spirals to show things/people getting sucked into a black hole (spaghettification)...but still don't know exactly where this is going!

Added a deranged badly drawn face here.  Have definitely lost all my fine liners and don't even know if i like this yet or not..

So I made a few tests of these patterns onto some big paper with a needle and thread.  I like how they turned out, but am a bit lost at where to take it from here as I need to be teaching the viewer something from whatever my final product is.  At the moment I am thinking of taking something from this technique to make either a book or an animation of some kind.

This was made on black card, I found it made a really nice effect when held up to a light.
